L’Arc~en~Ciel’s “KISS” album on iTunes!L’Arc~en~Ciel

NEW ALBUM

KISS
Ki/oon Records; December 4, 2007
(Digital-Only Release)

---------------------------------------

One of Japan’s biggest rock icons L’Arc~en~Ciel is making yet another mark in their staggering 15 years career with the release of their new album KISS. The band’s first album in nearly two and a half years, KISS was originally released in Japan in late November, making its debut at number one on weekly album chart. Now waiting is over for American fans with the digital edition of the album, just released today.

The album features 12 powerful songs including five chart-topping singles “SEVENTH HEAVEN”, “MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM”, “DAYBREAKS’S BELL” (Opening theme for a TV anime series Mobile Suite Gundam 00), “Link-KISS Mix-”(Opening theme for Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie-Conqueror of Shambala) and “Hurry Xmas”.

L’Arc~en~Ciel –hyde (vocal), ken(guitar), tetsu (bass), yukihiro (drums)- is one of the most successful rock bands to emerge from Japan. The band began as independent trendsetters and then rose to multi-platinum superstars; they recorded numerous hit singles and album, sold out the biggest arenas in Japan and launched a successful tour of Asia over the past 15 years. In 2004 they proved their popularity in America when they performed a one-time concert in Baltimore, MD drawing a crowd of 12, 000 crazed fans.

These charismatic rock stars constantly keep themselves busy; after playing 34 sold-out shows in Japan this summer and releasing string of hit singles, L’Arc~en~Ciel has just announced to embark on another expansive Japan tour supporting the release of KISS.
